How sports help overcome eating disorders

I saw this via twitter today.  And while I wouldnt classify myself as having an eating disorder, I certainly do like my food.  Exercise helps me maintain order and body image, which I clearly relate to in this article.

  1. I read that performance vs appearance one the other day… Quite the interesting read. I’ve been having a bit of a tough time getting a handle on the calories myself but my wife likes how I look now… It’s a pickle.

      • See, I look at that another way… Stay tuned, you gave me a great idea for a post. I think about the numbers, but I don’t own a scale. If you want to know what an athlete should weigh, look at real athletes (hockey over here, rugby over there… 6′ tall should be somewhere between 175 & 190. In other words, there’s a lot of weight on them bones.
