I am officially an IronMate. I have the shirt to prove it.

My husband endured swimming 2.4 miles, biking 112 and then running a marathon- 26.2 miles. He finished in just over 12 hours despite a horrible stomach bug plaguing him from the start of the bike portion and a finish ushering him to the medical tent.

It was a day I will never forget and I am equally as proud of our family who rallied in support.

Jonathan participated in the September 2014 Ironman Wisconsin, one of the toughest Ironman courses in the world.
